The Book Exchange Online was founded in 2006 by Jason Winters (Marshall University), Chris Derifield (OUSC/Huntington Junior College), and J.D. Hackworth (OUSC).

We were all in your shoes once and we hated buying textbooks just as much as you do. Therefore, we created this site and company with one thought in mind... To Save Students Money!!!

We developed this central meeting place for students from the same school to exchange new and used textbooks, so one day in the near future, you will never have to buy another textbook from an overpriced Bookstore again. Using our functionality and options we are striving to become the first and best website of its kind nationwide that allows students to evenly exchange/trade their textbooks with other students online. Students will now have the choice of saving hundreds of dollars per quarter/semester by using the BookExchangeOnline.com, instead of settling for ridiculously priced textbooks at a Bookstore.

Due to our ever changing economy the price on goods and services fluctuate constantly. You shouldn't have to decide whether or not you can go to a movie over the weekend or pay that new bill simply because you are trying to save your money for next quarter/semesters textbooks. We understand these situations completely, which is why we hope to satisfy this need to save students and their parents a lot of money on textbooks.
